NEW - ACME's advice on GCSE Mathematics

10 June 2013

In recent years, ACME has reflected and consulted upon many aspects pertaining to the Key Stage 4 curriculum in mathematics and its assesment.

ACME believes that there should be greater in-depth mastery of mathematical ideas and concepts at Key Stage 4 rather than the addition of extra content. Assessment of students at the higher end of the grade range should focus on in-depth mastery of the Key Stage 4 curriculum.

ACME has published a briefing paper which draws together its advice and expertise on GCSE Mathematics from a variety of position statements, policy reports and consultation responses.
